Yesterday, I was reminded that I hadn't posted on my blog for a little while...thanks Mum!
Our local show was held last weekend. Nathan had a very successful show, winning 5 trophies in the pavilion and $38 in prizemoney...an absolute fortune to a 6 year old. His trophies were the aggregate for his age group in photography, horticulture, cooking and handicrafts as well as attaining the highest aggregate for a boy in the pavilion.
I won the papercraft (scrapbooking) trophy, as well as the Highest Aggregate Points in the Pavilion and the Cultural Assn Trophy for Exhibitor with the highest points over Photography, Art, Needlework and Handicrafts.
Nathan and quite anumber of other kids created canvases with aerosol artist, Christian Griffiths. They had a wonderful time with spray paint and Christian guided them through the process and then added a few finishing touches that made their canvases look very professional.
He also had a wonderful time on the dodg'ems
and a giant slippery slide.
The local fire service had a cut and rescue display and took kids for rides in their little fire engine...always a huge hit.
Another popular event was David from Radical Reptiles. He was at our show a few years back and was very popular then too.
And being in the heart of sheep country, I have to add these photos:

Wow Ker!!! A very successful and enjoyable show for the Lloyd family. It looks like Nathan had a ball.
