Desperate Measures?

This morning we woke to a phone that wasn't working. Apparently Martin decided there were people he needed to call at 6.30am so......(it was too early to report telephone problems)

....the only way we get mobile phone access here!

This tank stand is about 25ft high and stores water from our house dam. From here, it provides water for our house and 3 paddocks.

Fabric Flowers

Today I stumbled across this great little tutorial.

Rolled Fabric Flower Tutorial from Rhonna Farrer on Vimeo.

Last week I received a photo for a photo swap at Scrapbooking Premiere. These gorgeous flowers could be perfect for the layout. Next month, my sisters and I are attending their retreat and I am sooo excited about it. We'll be learning some new techniques which will be wonderful and might get my creativity the boost it needs.

Birthday Boy

Yesterday the youngest of our older boys turned 21! Congratulations and happy birthday Adam. Craig and Kathryn planned a surprise party for him for last night.

He has also completed his apprenticeship and is now a fully qualified auto electrician. We are very proud of him and his achievements.

Puppies!

We have three little mini foxie pups in our house that are now 4 weeks old. It was quite an experience for Nathan and I to see them bring born and grow so quickly. They are all boys...as if we'd have anything else in this house! One is a tricolour (black, tan and white) with a natural bobtail, a tan natural bobtail and a brown long tail. This has come about as their mother has a long tail and their father is a natural bobtail.

Here are some photos of when they were newborns:

And here they are today (aged 28 days):

These little guys have been living in our schoolroom and have had the heater on during the chilly nights. They love getting outside and wandering around the lawn but mother Khloee gets very upset when they head off in different directions and she has trouble keeping an eye on them.

I find they react to my voice when I walk in to the schoolroom. The littlest one hops out of bed and comes trotting over to me and then happily snoozes on my lap. They have a lot of fun scruffing each other and we have a laugh at their little growls.

One pup has a new home to go to (he's headed to Brisbane) and the other 2 are for sale, so feel free to contact me if you're interested.
